Back Siglent's new SNA6000A VNA series

The rapid development of technologies increases the need for high-performance measurement technology. Siglent's new SNA6000A VNA series meets these requirements with impressive specifications and numerous useful, powerful functions. The series includes a total of eight models, available in bandwidths of 13.5 GHz and 26.5 GHz. Both a 2-port and a 4-port model are available for each bandwidth. All models are available in both a standard version and an extended version with direct receiver access (DRA).

The SNA6000A impresses with a large dynamic range of over 135 dB, which makes it ideal for the detailed analysis of the stopband of a filter without losing sight of the passband. In addition to measuring single-ended S-parameters, differential S-parameters can also be recorded. The VNA can also be expanded to carry out pulsed measurements. The SNA5000-TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) option enables time domain analyses, including the display of eye diagrams and the measurement of jitter. Spectrum analyzer functionality is also available as an option.

Not all external influences can always be eliminated by calibration. In these cases, it is important that appropriate options are available to eliminate influences from cables and test sockets, for example. The SNA6000A series offers the function of the adjustable reference plane, the removal of adapters, and embedding/de-embedding. An integrated formula editor and mask test support developers in analyzing the test object and speed up the evaluation. The large 12-inch touchscreen can be flexibly configured and enables a clear display of several windows with different measurements.

In summary, the SNA6000A series is a powerful and versatile solution for precise measurements and comprehensive analyses.
